It is very difficult to watch your child starve! She has spent most of her day sleeping. She continued to refuse everything till about 6pm tonight. They tried an eggnog(heavy cream with egg) mixture cooked in the microwave to look like scambled eggs. She ate that right up. It was such a small amount she asked for more. They will start giving her 2/3 of a days diet tomorrow. We had another difficult night of giving her medication. She will not take it and spits it out. We have tried everything to get it into her! She had about 20-30 drop seizures today with a lot of jerking and staring. They tell us to not worry about seizure activity right now. Their goal is to start the diet. It is hard to know what effect the diet is going to have when she is also going up and down on her medications.
